While Roxanne was absent, due to meetings, I decided to do some maths! I worked out measurements for all the rooms in the houses I've designed and have worked out using circle theorem, thanks Mr. Henry :), whether my bedrooms fit the recommended size. After a bit of hard maths, it turns out it does, with quite a margin *thumbs up* so I am really happy with myself. Furthermore, using ergonomics, which are the result of the studies of human factors, which designers use in order to develope efficient and user friendly facilities etc, I worked out the dimensions of rooms and the space needed in order to hold certain furniture and objects.

Friday 6 February 2015

It's Friday!!!

ITS THE DAY OF THE WEEK THAT ALL WORKERS LOOK FORWARD TO.
WE GET TO HAVE A FEW DAYS OFF AND WE'RE ALL IN A RUSH TO GET HOME.

Today me and Roxanne went to a meeting with Exposure Magazine, a charity that helps young people move forward, especially within the media industry. So,we were out and about most of the day.

We cam across a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, expensive avenue on our journey. This avenue had HUGE HOUSES, Bishops Avenue, London.

Overall a decent day, full of hard questions from Roxanne, but still I learn things so..,.

Day 2 - Hectic Journey

So, it's day two of my two weeks of work experience. Just experienced how daunting commuting to work is, especially with all these tubes being part suspended :(.
Got in to work a bit late, but everything is sorted now...
...so lets see what this day holds : )

Monday 2 February 2015

Some of the worlds most innovative and outstanding landmarks,
all of which are made by influencial architects.
From the great pyramids in Egypt, that were made thousands of years ago,
and that are puzzling scientists as to how theyt were made, to the Eiffel Tower in France.
ALL OF THESE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNS ARE UNIQUE
AND HAVE IMPACTED THE WORLD ARROUND US!

Day One of Work Experience

I've finally started work experience, and I am really looking forward to the next two weeks.
So far me and my supervisor, Roxanne, have discussed various builings and projects to determine the type of architecture I like.
